Bellagio offer

I did my first Bellagio Tournament last week. It was a $100 K tournament
based on 300 entrants and everyone got something down to $100 FreePlay
for last place. The attendance was only 220 something. That was fine
with me because they did not reduce the top money so the ER was raised
about $70 per person. Many of the regulars were complaining because they
said this was the first tournament held on the casino floor instead of a
special room and there was no food available during play or an awards
dinner at the end. I had no problem with the format because I hate
awards dinners and the offer included RFL anyway.

Good News: Bellagio sent me the letter this year where they will match
my play with FreePlay. I though maybe they were discontinuing that promo
after last year. They match your play up to last years level with 50%
FreePlay and then any play exceeding last years is matched with 100%
FreePlay. All FreePlay is limited to $50,000 and must be collected in
December.

Bad News: All the $1 9/6 JB Ten Plays that I tried were at a crawl. Many
machines had the speed control button available but they seemed to play
pretty slow even at the fastest setting.

Question: Anyone know what The B is looking for in play for airfare
reimbursement for a video poker swine?

I had not heard from Bellagio for abt 15 months and my former host told
me a
year ago that I would not receive any more offers because they had set
the
point requirements very high for VP players(I was averaging over 30K/day
on
the days I played)>. Now I get an offer for April 100K slot tourn with 3
nites in a suite and all food and bev. Hard to figure.
Maybe they are having trouble fill this tourn or now that they have
shorted
the machines I used to play(.50 9/6 5 play) maybe they are loosing up on
their offers.
Any ideas?

If you could win all the time it wouldn't be gambling, it would only be a
job.
