Now, I am all for shutting down non-constitutional aspects of state
and federal governments, but if you are 4 Billion in debt, does it
make sense to shut down your money making operations? Fine, shut down
non-needed money losing operating.

There wasn't much of a choice -- the furlough couldn't distinguish
between revenue and cost centers.
Of course, if I had a hand in the matter, I'd have put all the CCC
reps in for some last minute CPR training and certified them as
"essential" medical personnel.

Why would it take that long? I am hoping the budget problem will be
resolved by end of tomorrow; not just for the effect it has on AC, but
the effect it has over so much of the NJ population, on a variety of
matters.
