Beer promotion at EW

99 Bottles of Beer. That is the goal, as the River Bar now has 99

On my last Laughlin visit there was some discussion/talk/rumblings/disdain
from my EW bartenders (no names please) at the O'Aces and Sportsbars about the
River bar's new selection of bottled beers.

Right now they can't comp the new selection of beers directly. It will take
a sign-off by some higher authority to comp a VP player. So let's let the
masses look at the new beer selection, tease them, but no freebies for a vast
majority of the patrons.

What is whacked Marnell-Sher upgraded all the booze that could be comped when
they took over the joints in June 2007.

I am not surprised about them not comping some of those expensive beers
for vp players. They have a similar deal at the tiny casino - The
Nugget at Crystal Bay (North Shore Lake Tahoe). To participate in this
promotion you have to purchase the beers....no comps. They have some
good beers on tap and those are free for players, but I saw a Samuel
Smith Oatmeal Stout on the shelf and paid for it while playing. It was
good.
