Bed bugs

Hi,
Guess what I found on top of my bed at the Mohegan Sun hotel early on Monday
morning when I rolled in from an all night video poker session? An engorged
bed bug! I probably would have fled the room or at the very least, told someone
at the desk, but I had no idea what it was. I just squashed it, after
memorizing the appearance, and decided to go home and do some research online.

Having read that bed bugs are making a comeback at hotels and universities, I
decided to Google bed bugs first. BINGO! There was my bug, oblong, mahogany
color with rings around it, which is apparently an ENGORGED bed bug.

Luckily I am a nocturnal creature, so I did not receive any bites, sleeping
during the daylight hours. My hubby did sleep in the room during the night,
however, so I will inspect him for bites when I get home. I had a reservation
for another comped night on Thursday of this week. Needless to say, I canceled
it!

I do not plan to complain, since it was a comped room, but I just thought I
would pass this on. Check your mattress for bed bugs at Mohegan Sun!

You should call and let them know so the can look into it (and
hopefully fix the problem before it gets too bad) -Russ

I'm just checking out from my cove suite at Mohegan. Checked the bed,
squeaky clean with what appears to be all new bedding. I've notice
they've been tuning up the rooms and suites over the past year, maybe
the problem was with some older bedding.
