Be circumspect when you post was New Progressive Video Poker.....

This is a great sentiment expressed by Frank in the paragraphs below and I
wish everyone was like Frank. But the reality is different. Yes, I have
had some good experiences with team players but those can be counted on one
hand. After being shut out of something that I discovered & naively shared,
I decided to share my discoveries only with those who were not "team"
players or pros. It's been a while since that happened but it's a lesson that I
hope that others don't have to learn. For weekend players, most of us don't
care about when or where the progressives are anyway since we have a
limited time when we can be there & the locals will have already taken all the
seats. Since I'm probably on the borderline of this board's policies, read
between the lines. However, here's a tidbit for those who have read this
far. It's on auto-holds. Most auto-holds have some play errors which favor
going for royals or straight flushes. Be aware that these are the correct
holds when the progressives get high.

That's a tricky question. I believe at least some of ban on
high-meter-rise progressives is out of ignorance. I am planning on writing a

The biggest thing we as a community can do is not to lock out the casino's
regular customers when progressives get high. If you see a regular player
angling for a seat, give it to them while you are at dinner or offer to
time share it with them (even if they aren't a pro). And better yet, tell a
manager or slot host,

You can't actually buy anything online, just browse through what can be ordered
while in the store. But you can make up a list of the things you want to buy,
with the numbers they need to do the actual ordering for you.

I have no doubt that you had problems with the other teams, or god forbid even mine. Hopefully, not while I was managing.

I'm going to say this now. Getting along out there and not being greedy is the most important thing we can all do to promote casinos bringing back good progressives en'masse. Plus, it's good karma.

We locked-up progressives, because if we hadn't, someone else would have--and we would never had gotten a seat. If no one locks-up progressives, no one has to.

Think about that for a long second.
