Be Careful Out There...

Nope. It didn't help me at all.

All you said was that you were a victim of vandalism. That's not
very helpful to me.

Both I and my sister's friend were victims of casino vandalism in the
past month. I have discussed the matter privately with some of you.
But, since casinos regularly monitor vpFREE and I prefer anonymity I
won't disclose the specific circumstances further.

vpFREE members are strongly cautioned to never assume either personal
items or automobiles are secure. It does not matter if you are in one
of the "high end" casinos. And in both instances thieves struck quickly
and were long gone by the time security responded.

After discussing the situation and filing reports, etc. I was amazed at
how areas are not as secure as you might think. It makes me wonder if
the gaming areas where the casino's money is at stake aren't given the
primary focus. Meanwhile, other areas are much less frequently attended.

The purpose of my post well be well-served if it prevents even one of
you from becoming a victim on your next trip.

Be careful out there.

Be careful in the parking lots and parking garages. Robberies and
shotting have occured in the past.
