BD's Classes

While we're on the subject of the classes/seminars that BD conducts at
various casino, I would be curious to know how many list members have
taken one of his classes. If you have participated in this learning
experience, what was your impression of the lessons he teaches?

Thanks for your imput.

Babe,
About 7 years ago, when Dancer first started at the then Maloof owned Fiesta on Rancho, we were in town and decided to attend. I hope he has improved. After 10 minutes, George had to leave and after 15 I was starting to nod off. This was basic JB and for us it was a waste of time, not to mention we thought he was way over the heads of most of his participants. Since then we have moved to town and have walked by several of his sessions. He is still way above the heads of most of his participants!

About two years ago I attended a B.D class at the Palms. It was a
beginners class and it was just what I needed. Sort of a morale boost
and a pep talk. I did pick up some good pointers on how to use some of
the Winpoker features that I wasn't aware of. I also purchased some of
his strategy cards. At the time penalty card plays were beyond my
expertise. Some of the audience were at least intermediate players and
probably didn't get much out of the prepared presentation, but did
manage to get some of their more complicated questions answered during
a question and answer period.
All in all, Dancer is a good speaker, has a wealth of knowledge and
he had a positive effect on my V.P. outlook. I enjoyed the class and
would go back again if the opportunity presents itself. Dick McK.

I have attended most of this series at Fiesta Rancho: I felt that the
levels taught (usually 2 and 3) were perfect for the groups involved. I
think that he is a great teacher, and his method of asking questions of
the class ensure that most everyone understands everything taught.

I would highly recommend these classes
