BD-$Million VP

Just finished Bob Dancer's book "Million Dollar VP". An easy read with a
real life look at the bankroll swings when we play VP. Not a "how to" book
per say but has insights on how to chose what game to play, plus when and
where to play based on the EV and bankroll. It is more a journal of his VP
life from beginning $6000 bankroll to present day. I thought how he portrays
his wife as the " conservative conscience" of the team and their wranglings
were so true to life for a married couple that plays VP that it made the
read even more enjoyable. For us that are passionate about VP then it is a
must read.

BTW I don't know BD, never met him or anyone else in this group but thought
I would share how I felt about it since others might extract some joy from
this journal of his VP life.

I just read it also, and found it quite enjoyable, and somewhat
comforting. It seems as though he had some pretty phenomenal luck,
in addition to his perfect play. Now I don't wonder so much what he
did right that I'm doing wrong!

Also admired his candor with regard to some of the "marginal" ethics
employed in his quest for a bankroll. Many people wouldn't have had
the guts to do these things, or admit to them.
