BB After Expiration Date

It has been reported that some casinos will allow redemption of bounce-
back coupons after the expiration date to their better customers.

Casino A in IN did this recently for me, so I just requested this of
Casino B. Casino B's response was that they "wished they could," but
that IN gaming regulations forbade them from doing this. The question
now is, did Casino A break gaming regulations for little 'ol me, or is
Casino B hoping I'll accept this response and go away?

I know I can contact IN Gaming Authorities, but was hoping someone
here might know the rules there.

Hi Correna,

I've had an identical experience at my two Reno "home" casinos.

At Casino "A", my host graciously signed off on the offer (which had
expired a few weeks previously). At Casino "B", the host bluntly
told me "No way!" She said, "There's nothing that can be done after
the time period on an offer has expired." Nothing was mentioned
about adverse "Gaming Commission rules".

Guess which casino will get most of my business in the future?

BTW, a good friend of mine (who is a much bigger player than I am)
had suggested that I ask my host, at Casino "B", about this. He
said that his host had extended the date on his offer on an
occasion. So, I presume that there are no GC or casino rules which
prohibit doing this.

I do understand that rules are rules, and that marketing offers of
FP and CB are made during slow periods, in order to fill casino
rooms. However, I also think that non-local players, especially
those flying cross-country, should be allowed a little extra leeway,
in accepting the offer.

The next time someone says "it's the commission" in a non-NV
jurisdiction, I'm going to slap that person silly. I can think of at
least three IN casinos, both NW and SE, who did this for me.

I had a situation where a friend got a bonus cash offer. We play
about the same $$ within a few thousand a month. I complained to the
promotions people; no dice. Then I cried to my host claiming it's not
fair. She checked it out and came up with a story about casino trying
different marketing strategies. Equal players were getting different
offers and they were trying to figure out what works better. I didn't
buy it and squawked louder. Host wound up issuing me a "cash comp"
for the amount of the coupon I didn't get. This happened in AC. By
the way, By the way, after I cashed the comp I quit squawking.

Cheers....Jeep

I was told "it's the commission" at the Westin in LV, when they stopped allowing players to pick up all FP at once. That didn't make sense to me. Why would the comission care, as long as the players didn't get cheated?
