IP Biloxi had a promotion last weekend where the top ten "72 hour"
point earners for each card level would receive $2,500 to $10,000 in
free play. It was a great play, and I didn't want to miss it.
Many of the machines had been downgraded recently, but thankfullly I
managed to secure one of the four remaining $5 9/6 JOB machines. FYI,
I confirmed it was a 9/6 machine before I started playing.
After about three hours of play, I needed to take a "hotel check-in"
break, so I had my machine capped. Two hours later I resumed play.
On the third hand I noticed something was strange; they had downgraded
my machine to 9/5 JOB while it was capped!!!
One of the remaining 9/6 TITOs was still available, so I was able to
switch machines. Nonetheless, this still ranks as a one of the most
egregious displays of "casino chutzpah" that I've ever witnessed.
