I am curious in knowing if anyone would choose to play the bartop
machines assuming the pay tables are the same as the machines on the
floor (like Bally's/Paris) or did I just hit a good streak over
three nights?
You just hit a good streak. If the paytables are the same, then by
definition, one machine cannot be "looser" ot "tighter".

I beg to differ with the good Doctor Don the Dentist but... even though I'm
not the brightest light on the Xmas tree as evidenced by an inability to tell
the difference between .3 CB and 3% CB here goes.....
Many of us AP's are taking up No Limit Table Tennis for fun and huge profits
when playing No Limit Table Tennis "Fish". Good hand strength is required
for NLTT and that means good finger strength. We play exclusively sticky button
bar top Video Poker in order to achieve this. Find a bar top with sticky
buttons. The pay table doesn't matter at all, just sticky buttons. If none are
to be had then pour some beer on the pads when nobody's looking and wait a day
to practice. It's also important to make small talk with the bartender. Ask
if any of these machines are paying jackpots. The response will prove bar
tops are indeed a step above floor machines. Now, notice when you are actually
playing your sticky machine the bartender will swoop over once in a while and
have the uncanny ability to read your cards upside down [there's a special
segment of bartending school that teaches this] His encouragement will actually
help you hit a jackpot and continue to build the all important finger and
hand strength for a fine championship career on the NLTT television circuit.
