I did not find Drain's posts disruptive in any way either. In fact, I
found many of them to be quite entertaining.

This is also true for your posts Mickey. There is so much boring
stuff on vpfree (and lots of fora) it is refreshing when there are a
few posters who provide something to energize the group. I would
place both Mickey and Drain in that category. I find the
adminstrator's position to be a net negative for the entire group. I
really don't think that's a good thing.

What happened to the idea of a temporary suspension. There have
been "disruptive" posts in the past with no penalties. Bob Dancer's
attacks on other VP authors comes to mind immediately.

I don't see anything fair going on here.

1. It's impossible for anyone to accurately evaluate my actions
in disciplinary matters unless they are privy to all of the
private as well as the public exchanges that may have taken
place.

2. I won't discuss the details of any disciplinary action unless
I'm responding to the disciplined member.

3. I always try to be fair and objective in enforcing the rules.

But you know Dick won't and can't accept that. Didn't you know, he's
got all the inside information he'll ever need to tell you you don't
know what you're doing? Seriously, he read up on it on the Internet!

No need to with Dick. He used the math to come up with this, but
you're wrong and that's that!

3. I always try to be fair and objective in enforcing the rules.

Everyone knows that to be the case, but you-know-who.....

Then, why do you keep them a secret? This is a public forum and you
are not being public with your actions. Makes absolutely no sense,
unless of course, you have something to hide.

We are not in grade school. I believe this group is comprised of
adults that don't need your unwanted protection.

3. I always try to be fair and objective in enforcing the rules.

But no one really knows now, do they! The world is full of self-
proclaimed philantropists ... some them even get to be Govenors and
get caught with their pants down.

I received this email today following my criticism of the
administrator. The referenced post is two weeks old and nothing had
been mentioned UNTIL I criticized our apparently vindictive
administrator. I'll let this action speak for itself.

In most respects you are a very valuable member of vpFREE. However,
you have a disruptive habit of getting too personal when making or
responding to negative posts.

A recent example is your vpFREE post # 85793 where you wrote:

"Bob, you were doing fine until this idiotic last paragraph. This
analogy is ridiculous at best. Just because .25 plays are more
prevalent does change the approach a good VP player takes. It makes
no difference what denom one is playing since the math is EXACTLY the
same. Not surprising people think you're ego is tad bit too large."

Your response violates vpFREE rules.

If you had removed the gratuitous personal comments, it would have
been fine:

"I disagree with this last paragraph. Just because .25 plays are more
prevalent does change the approach a good VP player takes. It makes
no difference what denom one is playing since the math is EXACTLY the
same."

I don't have a problem with your Bob Dancer posts, if you keep them
impersonal and objective. Disagree all you like, but in the future,
please do it within the rules:

"CONDUCT: Members are expected to observe the rules of "NETIQUETTE",
and to practice politeness and show good taste in their vpFREE posts.

Negative personal comments or personal attacks, as perceived by the
Administrator and regardless of circumstances, aren't tolerated on
vpFREE. When making or responding to a negative post, be objective,
factual, polite and impersonal. You can assert, deny, disagree,
correct or explain, but no name-calling and don't make belittling or
sarcastic remarks about the writer or their message."

I nearly felt Dick's P-A-I-N with this desperate diatribe. Even when
he falls flat on his face, he still pretends to know more about the
admin.'s job and how to do it than the admin. himself! That's what I
like about nerds. They won't give up and you can continuously have
fun beating them to a pulp!
