Well I just received my first marketing effort from Barrick, an e-
mail for the March NASCAR race packages. I used to stay once in
awhile at LVC and got occacional mail, the Plaza three month mailer
or a postcard for a LVC tourney. That stopped with Barrick.
So does anyone get offers from Barrick? My main concern is Barrick
is taking over the Golden Nugget in Laughlin, which I try to make my
home base.

My husband and I received MVP passes today for the Vegas Club based on our
play in October. They are good till April 30 for 3 free nights. We are
staying at the Plaza Feb 25-28 for 3 free nights from a mailer I received in
the fall so it looks like the room offers are about the same as they have
been. I had invites for the Ed McMahon slot tourney from both places too.
The one thing that seems to be missing is the Plaza newsletter with the 3X
points and other good coupons - bummer.
