pay schedules so their best game is NSUD. The high limit room is
looking a lot emptier.
Barona drops all 99.9% games
Ummm...they haven't dropped all the 99.9% games, and the $5 and $1
progressives still have 1% meters on them. Frankly, I can do without
the SAB and Spin Triple Deuces. The TD makes more sense if you can put
$100K in the cage and talk them into doing a loss rebate, but I doubt
they'd go for that.
Barona and Viejas are really marginal anyway. There's a lot of stuff
in CA which is break even, and I'd say at the $5 level almost every CA
res casino offers $5 Jacks or $5 NSUD, but only a couple of places
where decent plays are to be found.

They have dropped the pay schedule on Super Aces from 8/5 to 7/5 and
removed 2pjw from the hundred play and replaced it with 5kjw. That,
according to the VPFREE inventory and my own observations kills all
99.9 games. If I have missed something I'd love to know.

Since it costs me money to debate the members here, I'll just say
you're right. The problem is if I correct a member on what I know to
be an error, a pro will jump all over it. You have no idea how many
vultures/lurkers are on this forum. I can think of at least 2 $100/hr
low variance players which are theoretically MIA looking at the DB.
The JW2 game is marginal, but I enjoy playing it. If I could get .5
cb, I'd play it a lot more often.
I did play the 8-6 Jacks progressive at $37500 the other night there
for a little bit. The room was almost empty. And for those who've made
it this far and care, Barona did put in a 9-6 Ace Invaders (99.56) for
dollars. This is the only 9-6 game I've seen so far, but the survey
sample is admittedly limited. .1 cb, maybe .3 bb, easy room comps,
good buffet.
Barona and Viejas seem to mimic each other, but when you can get away
with stuff like I saw at Viejas the other night, well...There's this
lady, she's banging away at the $1 Cleopatra, and they're making her
pay for her food off her comps. Not enough to be making $3 or so four
times a minute.
