barona drinks?

We're headed out to San Diego next month. We have played a lot of VP
in LV but never in Cal. Question: Do they give you free drinks at
the Indian Casinos in Cal? Is it like Vegas as far as drinks go?
Thanks in advance for the info.

Matt

No free alcoholic drinks in the Indian Casinos in San Diego area (my guess since they're 18 and over). Barona is only reachable via Wildcat Canyon Road, a road whose name best describes its winding, circuitous routing to the Casino. Soda, coffee, and juice are free.

There is a California vpFREE group, vpFREE_California which I've cross posted this message to, and which is a more appropriate forum for your question.

Matt - unfortunately, you will be paying for liquor, beer and wine at Indian Casinos in the San Diego County area. Sodas are free and in some casinos, bottles of water are free. For example, at Casino Pauma in Pauma Valley (off the 76 and Hwy 15), soda is free but a 16 oz. bottle of water is $1.00. Then at Valley View Casino in Valley Center, soda is free (in fact they have a "help-yourself" soda dispenser with several different flavors on the casino floor) and small bottles of water are free at the bar. I believe that Pala Casino (again on 76 east of Hwy 15) is the same as is Pechanga (east of Hwy 15 off 79 in Temecula) and Harrah's (east of Hwy 15 on 76 on the Rincon Indian Reservation). But again, all alcohol is at a price.

All of the casinos mentioned are in north county.

Have Fun!
