It was reported recently that the 10 FPDW machine bank near the Seattle's
coffee concession had gone coinless.
I am happy to report that these old machines now have an activated speed bar.
I can't count the times over the years that we called on Dennis, the slot
tech to change our machines to the warp speed setting. He was always so
accomodateing.
I have no idea if these old models came equipped with this option and it just
was never activated or they converted them with some variation to now include
the speed bar. Hallelujah! If only the Gold Coast follows suit with their
own clunkers and makes them coinless and speed adaptable.
The keys are still stiff and the chairs uncomfortable and with "March
Madness" it was quite loud with the basketball fans in the area. Either way,
the speed bar makes this bank much more attractive to me.
