Barbary Coast Eliminates 10 FPDW

I just went by there (Fri 12:45a) and the bank of 10 by the lounge was
still there and still TITO FPDW. The five other FPDW were still on the
south wall and the $1 Deuces progressive was at $8581.

Thanks for the update. Could it be that the "deucewoman" post was
just a hoax? A few observations:

1. A search of the archives shows that this is the only post by this
person.

2. No respone from this poster to requests for clarification.

3. The first part of "deucewoman" email address is "Calamity@i...".

There are lots of rumors making the rounds among BC's employees. They
have, in fact, been slowly refurbishing rooms for the past several
months. Supposedly, the large bar in the center will be removed and
replaced by a long bar along the Flamingo casino side wall which will
curve along through the area where the stage and lounge seating now
are. The lounge will be rebuilt as an actual room not open to the
casino. Finally, the whole casino will expand with an addition in the
rear area behind the garage entrance which they now use for employee
parking and which they just managed to buy last year. Also (and not
a rumor), current Slot Director, Cliff Paige, is slated to return to
GC from whence he came about two years ago. There he will become
their Slot Director upon the upcoming retirement of current director,
Joe Tinker. All this, of course, depends upon continued proper
alignment of the planets.

The Orleans has reinstalled 2 banks of 8 FPDW and now have 16
machines. They are located in the area of the slot club. All but 3
machines were being played at 7:30 last evening. It is great to see
them back.

Before people in our group verify your present declaration, why did you mistate the removal of the 10 FPDW machines at the Barbary Coast?

If deucewoman is lieing again I think she should be thrown off the
list. However I did see that several deuces wild machines were out
of order at the Orleans on April 17 the day I checked out.
