by nickel slots in the lounge location where this all happened. The
5 remaining machines are said to be gone by weeks end.
Barbary Coast eliminates 10 FPDW
Are these the ones that were just recently converted to TITO (ticket
in-ticket out)? If so, it makes one wonder why they bothered to
convert them in the first place. I had previously thought the recent
conversion boded well for BC to be the only Coast property where FPDW
might survive. I guess not.

Now we have conflicting reports. Sheesh!
Deucewoman claims that the FPDW were pulled the afternoon of April
22. It sounds like you (Les) were at the Barbary Coast the evening
of the April 22 or 23.
Is this the case? If so, it's very disappointing to have people
(Deucewoman)making such claims.

My suggestion to Barbary Coast: Keep the full pay machines, maybe
even add some more, but please, please, get rid of the 500lb Elvis
and the Tuesday karaoke. This may be the worst entertainment on the
strip!!!

I heartily disagree. I completely enjoy playing the FPDW while
listening to Pete 'Big Elvis' Vallee. Judging by the crowd he draws
to watch his shows, so do many others.
