From reading this and several other boards, it seems that people
(like myself) like to play VP at a bar. I would like some input from
the group on some good "Bar VP Combos" What I mean is a place w/
decent VP (maybe 8/5 Bonus 9/6 Job) and good drink service. If we
receive some good options maybe our great administrator could create
a cross directory (like the ones for DB/DW etc.) Any imput would be
great. -Russ

AH, a topic after my own heart.
MSS has 9/6 JOB and 9/7 DB at the bar with EXCELLENT drink service.
Orleans has had FPDB and definitely JOB at the bars. (I haven't checked
since demise of FP, so we need confirmation)
GC had 9/6 JOB and actually a couple triple play 9/6 JOB. On double point
days this is an interesting play isn't it.

I forgot to mention ones that I played at and that's the LVH that
has .25 Pick'em in the sportsbook and spacequest bars. Both had good
drink service. -Russ

I am a JOB player, and have found 9/6 games at Main Street Station (my
favorite) and at Suncoast. I understand they have Pick 'em in the bartops
at LVH. I will find out in June.

Arizona Charlies East is a great bartop play if you're looking for
an entertaining evening at a low expected loss. In the bar where
the music lounge is they have 9/6 JOB in single line quarters, and
also in quarter 3, 5, and 10-play. Play 9/6 jacks, have some
drinks, and listen to the live music. The current 5X points promo
even makes them slightly positive, and Charlies usually has some
kind of promo that makes them just below or just over breakeven.
Also, before somebody posts about SuperAces there, the paytables at
that bar were all lowered and are no longer 8/5.

Excellent bar service, microbrews on tap.

Comfortable seats, nice atmosphere. Most bars have rows of TVs above
showing sporting events.

LVH also has $1 Pick'.em at both bars.

Orleans has a mixed bag of odds for DB bar machines.
The machines in the "new" bar (rear? of the casino)
are 10-7 machines --- the quarter machines at the
Madigras bar are 9/6 (1000 p/o for 4 aces) and the
quarter machines at the "Alligator" bar are 9/6 with
800 4 ace payout.
Unfortunately, however, the rewards have been sparse
-- and nearly in the non-existent realm. Gold Coast
hasn't treated us any better (mostly 9/6 -- tho
there's a bank of free standing 10/7's on the floor).
Hardly a "perfect play" player (will cut for the fence
occasionally), but we're not giving it away, either.
Going to go to Stations today to see if we can take
some of the sting out of the Orleans /GC losses.
Reports of it being quiet at GC are spot on.
Played, and did well, at the 4 Queens bar machines ---
9/6 as I recall. Walked away happy with a very
handsome return on investment.
