I don't have the skills to explain the math but bankroll requirements are a
function of the game and it's optimal return, variance and cash back/slot club
benefits. Needless to say, if combined cb and return are not positive, you
will need infinitely deep pockets. If you have a copy of the 2003 American
Casino guide, Tom Ski has a couple of pages and some interesting charts devoted to
this as well.
