Bally's Holiday Cash/Harrah's takeover

I got more Holiday cash than my letter because I'd played at Bally's after
the letter was issued.

I was told that Paris/Bally's will continue to offer Shopping sprees and
cashbash weekends. Jan. Shopping spree letter was just sent out which is why no
one has received it yet - date is Jan. 29 I believe.

If Paris/Bally's no longer has RFB this will be a major downgrade for me.

Paris/Bally's now has signs up for Total Rewards and you can try showing
Diamond or 7 Stars cards as line passes. If not, ask for a line pass before
going into Paris buffet line which is always long (ask a host, VIP check-in, or
at Connection club).

I believe the Flamingo Las Vegas is the first of the former Caesars
Entertainment properties to switch to Total Rewards. Does anyone know if
they still offer .33% cashback? Or have they gone to the standard Harrah's
unadvertised minuscule bounceback cash?

I did as well, but not until I discussed it with three different
people. To be fair though, I picked mine up the first day it was
available.

I called my host a couple of days ago and he told me that the
shopping would be that weekend. As well, he said a cash bash weekend
would be set for January 14, 2006. Apparently, they had just
finished a meeting where they discussed these issues. Hopefully,
he's right.

I was told by my host the changeover will take place January 17,
2006.

Does this mean they no longer have gold cards? Do you know what
happens to non-Harrah's players?

Have a nice day!
