A Cogno Scienti post mentioned funny business in the Bally's
Christmas Cash amounts, among other things. Because of that, I was
extra-alert because I was planning on picking up my Christmas Cash this
morning.
Sure enough, I ended up with about half of what I was
expecting --- a $1,200 shortfall in my case.
I called my host, who promised to look into it. He told me
the lady in charge of the slot club wasn't in on Sunday, but he'd find
out tomorrow (Monday) and give me a call. I told him fine.
Three hours later my host called me back and said my name
now is on "the list", because apparently it had happened to many people.
He told me I could return to the booth and pick up my additional money.
I asked him if this was a case of "if you notice the discrepancy you get
your cash, and if you don't you don't?" He said he had no idea, but my
cash was waiting for me.
I suspect I would have noticed the lesser amount even with
Cogno Scienti's post, but I'm not sure. It's easy not to be sure how
much you are supposed to get. In any case, thank you Cogno Scienti for
the head's up.
It's fairly late in the month and you lose your bonus cash
if you don't pick it up. There MUST be more players on vpFREE who've
played there this year and have already picked up their cash. With no
previous posts on this subject other than Cogno's on the 17th, I suspect
that several others have picked up less cash than they were entitled to.
The casino rolls over quickly and gives you the right amount if you ask,
but you keep quiet about it, you lose. And since the cash is only
available in December, your window of opportunity is relatively short.
