My girlfriend and I just returned from a week long trip to Vegas and the good news is that we both hit our first Royal Flushes, me on a 3 hand JOB machine (Mainstreet) and her on a 5 hand machine (Gold Coast). She also hit the 1000 spin on Wheel of Fortune on the same day, so she was really happy.
Now, we played basic JOB strategy on the machines and seemed to do well, but could not help thinking that we should be doing something different based on the fact that with some of the long shots, we had multiple hands to try and hit them.
Any strategy or links that we should check out? Also, would the strategy be different on the 5 Cent machines as opposed to the quarter machines assuming the same pay-tables?
Note: We did see what appeared to be lots more nickel poker machines, but lots of variations on the pay-tables, specificially with the two pair payouts.
Thanks,
Fred*
