Guys,(still no gals?)
While up to Ellsworth (north of Traverse City) for a four-day golf
tournament over the weekend, I checked out Turtle Creek and the new
Odawa casino in Petoskey.
At Turtle Creek I noticed that the GameMakers were not where they
used to be. I called a floor guy over and ask him where they went. He
said they pulled then all out and at Leelanau Sands Casino too. He
mentioned that they were thinking about getting new GameMakers in,
but don't hold your breath. I played for a while on a couple of lousy
games, lost a couple hundred and left.

This means there's no more quarter Pick'Em anywhere in Michigan
(Soaring Eagle pulled theirs out too) except at Greektown Casino. I
also drove up to the new Odawa Casino and found nothing but low
paying vp losers. I played for a while on a couple of lousy games,
lost another couple of hundred and left. Rats! I hate when that
happens.
I was thinking of moving up in that area, but not now. If you are
a vp player, and I am, and you like to play "fair" vp games, and I
do, Greektown casino is the only place to play in Michigan...and I do
play there.
