Thank you for telling us this, Bob.
It is these kinds of stories that help all of us choose where to play.
I, for one, will think twice about giving Gold Coast my business.
And, the more people you tell, the more people will not play there.
Eventually, if GC continues this kind of practice, it will affect their
bottom line.
They are so stupid. They should have just given you the points.
Especially, after they had told you that you would get them.
Your post was good for another reason, too. Since I am not a
local, I will be more aware of point multiplier days and any
limitations they may have at other casinos. Until your post,
it never occurred to me that I might not get the same points
that locals are getting.

Just got off the phone with the Gold Coast. I played on Feb 7th
(Chinese New Year). They were having 8 times points. The points did
not accumulate properly. I spoke to the booth twice that day and was
assured the points would be corrected.
Four days later they had not been multiplied so they took my
information and added it to a list to be corrected.
Yesterday I went back and checked my points and still had not been
multiplied so the boothling and supervisor assured me it would be
taken care of.
Today the supervisor called me and told me that I was never eligible
for the 8 times points because I am not a local. This had never been
mentioned before today as I had been assured several times that I
would get the points.
I will be taking my cashback.
