The 2 full-pay JOB machines in high limit area were taken out of
service yesterday morning. When put back on line, the royal is now
shorted on any bet below the 100-coin max. That leaves the 3-play
Illinois Deuces progressive as the best play remaining.
It's sad but true, progressive Illinois Deuces may be the best play available in some casinos. When the progressive reaches 6000 coins the ER is 99.88% plus it's eligible for BB, CB, multiple points and promos. I wrote a booklet called "Duelin' Deuces" several years ago that includes strategy cards for FPDW, NSUD and Illinois Deuces. (There may be some left at GBC.) I also wrote a Two-Part feature for Midwest Gaming and Travel--very lengthy--called "Duelin' Deuces". I created several tables with detailed strategy tips for four deuces games--FPDW, NSUD, Illinois Deuces and Loose Deuces. You'll be able to easily switch from one game to another without errors. (My actual strategy cards have 100% of the possible dealt hands and are very accurate--you can check by using them during practice sessions with WinPoker software. I'm way too anal to allow major penalty card or exception errors.) The series for MWGT will appear in 2007--I believe there will be an online link to my articles or you can subscribe to the publication.
