Hi Gang:
Hedy and I just returned from our free Harrah's cruise aboard Royal
Caribbean's Grandeur of the Seas out of New Orleans. We stayed one night at the new
Harrah's hotel in NO the night before. We had a great time even though the
gambling bottom line was not a good one. I'll be doing a full trip report about our
adventures in NO and Mexico after Xmas, but in the meantime, Hedy and I want
to wish everyone on all three boards a very Merry Xmas, Happy Hanukkah or
whatever else you might be celebrating during this festive time of year.
We truly consider ourselves blessed to be part of the VP community and feel
very fortunate to have met so many wonderful people over the years through our
common interests. Many people on these boards have become lifelong friends and
we truly treasure sharing their triumphs . . . as well as offering support
during their tragedies.
We want to say thanks to everyone who has offered us help when we've asked
questions and to those who have said nice things about our trip reports. It's
fun to share and helps us relive a lot of the memories -- both good and bad.
So, happy holidays to all. And we offer a fervent wish that 2007 will turn
out to be your "dream year" in the casinos.
