Another winning 3 night trip.
Day 1: 1 night comp at Beau Rivage, $100 Freeplay. Checked in,
played the $100 on quarter 7/5 BP, not much luck (because it was a
NEGATIVE GAME ha ha ha), cashed out $75 and went to Grand to play $4-
8 Hold Em for 4 hours, went -$109 for the session. -$34 for the day
if you count the Freeplay. You'd be surprised how many times you get
dealt 4-2 offsuit in 4 hours of live poker.
Day 2: Checked in at the IP, 2 nights comp. Saw movie at IP,left
IP, went to play poker again at the Gulfport Grand. Lose with pocket
Aces on tuesdays and you get $100 cash. Did that, twice, plus made
$65 from pots. Ate meal comp. Back to IP for sleep.
Day 3: Still more poker at the Grand. Was up $300 at one point,
left +$100, ate, back to IP for sleep. Was gonna play VP at Grand
but I was too tired.
Day 4: Checkout, put suitcase in car, time to give IP some VP play.
Armed with a $4600 bankroll, I played 5 of Rob's ARTT sessions,
.25/.50/$1/$2 with a $10 win goal. Went 5-0, cashed in my tickets,
ironically counted a $460 profit (10% of my bankroll) from 25 minutes
of VP and drove home. As expected there's already another couple of
3 night offers from the IP waiting for me in the mailbox.
Tell me again how much "advantage" video poker play is required to
get all those stupid comps and that .005% profit when the long-term
comes around (whenever that is)?
Better yet...could a long-termer walk into a casino with almost $5k
and walk out after winning a measly $460, ESPECIALLY when you have to
walk past the giant size 9/6 DB $1 progressive game which stood at
$5950? I mean, it's just DUE, and it's POSITIVE!!!!!!!!!!
