B connected tier credits added

I think this “change” in Boyd players club was scheduled before the first of July. Whether in all properties? But my Gold Coast July mailer, received in late June, said I had multiple points on Tuesday in June but it was not put on the calendar for the 23rd. Also I saw fine print in newspaper ad “except July 23rd.” Also when I went online yesterday it said system would be down on the 23rd. So this might just be a general system overhaul???

I also got postcard notice yesterday thanking me for my loyalty (I have played some on Senior Days since the system revamp) and giving me enough credits (6700) to make Emerald. Brad did not get this nor did some friends who play a lot more than I do.

Sounds to me like Boyd is recalculation tier points based on a revised formula. We will seem

So I checked my account on Bconnected today. My tier points are up and no extra points have been added. However, my expiration date on my Sapphire card changed from 2019 to 2020. That doesn’t make up for the 6 months I should have been Emerald, nor the 8 months for my husband. His expiration date stayed the same, probably since he plays 99% vp and 1% slots. I do play slots about 20% of the time.

Over the past few years I have spent most of my time at the Gold Coast and the Westgate. I come out from the East Coast about five times a year for six days, three days at each place. I usually play only video poker, averaging $12-15K per day. Years ago, I did the Caesars Diamond thing, but left with the reduction in their paytables. The VP at the Westgate appears to be moving downhill and I am thinking about looking for something new. I have reviewed the vpFree web site re other possibilities. Thought I would ask others if they have any recommendations. Appreciate your comments.

Thanks,

Bob

In your shoes, I might start culling the most frequently named properties in vpFREE posts and glean what you can about those inventories and offers/promotions.

Locals drop a good number of “bread crumbs” in their posts (although a differentiating factor is that they benefit from locals promos/mailings that visitors often don’t have access to).
