B Connected improvements

I just was checking my account and noticed a couple of new features (at least new to me).

On the left side of the screen, in the section title “Card Score” they have added a button labelled “View Card Score History”. When I clicked it my play history for the current month plus 6 previous months was displayed. The card score points that will be “retired” at end of current month as well as points required to maintain my status are displayed as well.

Another new button in the “Account Info” section is labelled “Update Points”. I’m not sure what it does, but hopefully will provide up-to-the-minute point information.

Enjoy!

G’luck all,

Gamb00ler

The “update points” currently does not give “up to the minute” updates. I just tried it and it is at least 4 hours stale. It is showing yesterday’s total.

So how do the points work for locals and out of state? Is it 6 months like Stations?

I am fairly sure that it is 6 months for locals and I think it is 150,000 points for Emerald. If you are out of state and have a destination casino as your home casino then you have 12 months and have to earn 250,000 points. The destination casinos are the 3 downtown properties. The other Boyd properties in Las Vegas are considered locals casinos.

It is 250,000 points for locals to reach Emerald also.

Thanks for the new information about non-locals!!! I used some of it in my latest blog about March promotions. http://jscott.lvablog.com/?p=3420

FYI…

The points roll off for non locals the same as locals.

The card score History that I get is 12 months not 6.

Ditto, same with me. But I can’t figure how they came up with the sum points points that I lost.

So, are the comps the same? Are comps better at Stations?

<<The points roll off for non locals the same as locals.

A.P., Am I right that points roll off after 12 months for non-locals, rather than after 6 months like for locals?

As a non local my card score is showing and totals correct for 12 months. My mother who changed her account to her 5 month a year LV address is showing 6 months as her card score with B Connected. As a non local you lose the weekly cash back offers from the Boyd properties.

It looks that way. I just went to the bconnected site and the “my card score” number is the total of all my trips over the last 12 months.

That is the reason that as soon as I found out that they treated visitors with a 12 month earning period instead of six at their destination casinos that I changed my home casino from Sam’s Town to MSS.

That was easy. I just went to my host at MSS and asked her to make MSS my home casino. She was happy to do it, and it only took her a few minutes on her computer. I think they will do this for anyone that has an out of state address.

Sorry if this was answered before

On Weds , can you play at one property in the AM, get your swipe multiplier, eat a buffet, etc.- perhaps earn 10K points.

then start over at a different property, swipe and get anew multiplier and then maybe earn 100+ points for a dinner buffet , get a movie pass, etc. and earn another 10k in vp?

Or is the point cap all on one card per day?

Buffet comps at only first casino you play at?

You can do the promotion at all 4 casinos if you wish. Mystery multipliers may differ between properties.
