AZ Charlies

After a year or so, of avoiding Arizona Charlie's on Decatur, I was lured back
by a 2 for 1 buffet offer and publicity about the changes it had made to the
buffet and food quality.

The first unpleasant experience was with an extremely slow cashier, I waited
almost 40 minutes, on a short line that any of the cashiers at Texas would
have handled in five minutes. This was not due to a lack of seats since people
were seated as fast they manged to get by the obstacle of paying.

There was no notable difference in the quality of the food as I remembered it.
This an extremely poor buffet regardless of whether it is measured by quality
or variety.

In short, to paraphrase someone, " never have so many waited so long for so
little"

As far as gaming, (my not too thorough search), I couldn't tfind a single FPDW
quarter machine, which are available at Texas and Santa Fe

All things considered, a good place to avoid.

I do NOT play at Ariz Charlies Decatur BUT
There ARE a number of fpdw intermingled among their other machines
(probably 6 in number) and they have 10/7 DB with 40 points for $35
in.
I dislike their every day return to get cash back, but it does start
with 1000 points = $5 per day. That is 2.5% cash back
2500 points = $10 per day. That is 2% cash back.
Not too shabby except that you must return daily to get it.

Are all the Full Pay deuces and DB missing from Arizona Charlies
Boulder or just a few? If anyone has been there lately, please let
me know.

Thanks

All 100% + games were removed on Thur. Dec 11, 2003. Carl needed some extra
cash. It may have even contributed to his moving up on the Forbes
billionaire list. See my post at:
