Was at AZ Charlies Decatur today. The multiline games in NW section
had the point rate reduced by 30%! The multi denom. games upstairs by
Bingo and behind the stage downstairs had the rate cut by 20%, and
the mulit denom in the NW section had the rate cut by 10%. I was
playing by bingo yesterday, was getting points at the old rate then
after 2.5 hours they retroactively reduced down to the new 20% lower
rate. I guess I was dumb enough to play while they were changing the
rate. Seems Charlies runs promo after promo, and after each one they
reduce the point totals given out. An exec told a player that
business was down big last week with the new slot club format. But he
said he was confident once word got out of the new system that
players would come back in droves. I wonder if they will also get the
word out that they reduced the point totals given for coin in? Good
