Automatic Moderation for Any Politeness and Civility Violations

I am determined to stop the personal attacks, sniping, digs,
put-downs etc. on vpFREE. Accordingly, effective immediately
any violation of Posting Guideline 8. or 8a. (appended below)
will automatically earn the offender indefinite moderated status.

This means that the Administrator must approve all messages
by anyone on moderated status. If a moderated member sends
a message that violates the rules, it will be rejected and can then
be revised and re-sent or posted "as is" on FREEvpFREE.

This new policy should affect very, very few members.

8. Always address the message rather than the messenger (no
personal attacks) when making or responding to a negative
post. In addition, be polite, civil, objective, factual and
impersonal. You can assert, deny, disagree, correct, explain
etc., but don't put-down, belittle, make sarcastic comments,
insult or do any name-calling about the message or the
messenger.

8a. Let the Administrator do the administrating. If you wish
to comment on a post because you believe it is inappropriate
or that it violates the rules etc., do not post it on vpFREE.
Send it by private email to the poster, the Administrator,
and/or post it on FREEvpFREE. Also send all comments,
questions or suggestions about how the forums should be run to
the Administrator via private email or post them on
FREEvpFREE.

What you cannot hear is the sound of applause coming from Summerlin.
I used to look forward to reading this board. Recently, I have been
avoiding most of the topics. I certainly hope the board can return
to being the premier site for reading about all of the various VIDEO
POKER opportunities here in Las Vegas rather than being a site for
some verbal barroom brawls between warring factions.

I believe that the WORST(by far) thing you can do, as
far as winning money at gambling, is to choose the
wrong side in the primary debate that has been
occuring here.

Although one faction is not really a faction.

THANK YOU! I am so sick of deleting scores of emails from "little boys overcompensating" that I had almost given up on the site. -ARA1957
