I see that the Boiler Room at the Colorado Belle has hired a new
brewmaster. The beer had gone down hill in my opinion, and was not all
that great anyway. When I was at the Boiler Room about a month ago,
they were down to only 2 brews, and the bartender was pushing the
Rolling Rock on tap. They now have five brews on tap:
Golden Ale, Amber Ale, Pale Ale and Stout. I tried the Stout last
week, and it was pretty good. The specialty beer is Brown Ale. The
next specialty beer is an I.P.A., and should be available in about a
month. As a side note, I have always been amused at the signs all around
town. They proudly state that the Boiler Room was voted the top
microbrewery in town. Lots of competition, huh?
Beer , beer , beer. Beer, beer, beer .... whoopa!

I have always thought the Colorado Belle's beers were weak, the worst
homebrew I have ever tasted. The best, Main Street Station for a Casino.
There are three Micros within walking distance in my hometown, so I can judge
these things. CB brew those things on a budget and for the masses getting
off all those damn day-trip busses.
On the other hand. the 'tenders in the Boiler Room would try to talk you into
Premium drinks, once the sun went down. Vox vodka without asking...etc.
