I'm not sure that was smart but he seems to have survived. A friend of mine
was approached at gunpoint after a poker game in DC by someone he knew. If a
policeman hadn't turned up that minute, he's sure he would have been shot dead
to avoid a witness. Very scary walking around with those huge amounts of
money. I'd always ask a security guard to accompany me even with much less.
