Karen, for your own information you may wish to give Citibank a call
and ask if there's a daily withdrawal limit on your card. Most cards
have a limit of some type as protection for you in the event the card
is lost and the pin is compromised. In many cases if you find that
the existing limit isn't sufficient, a higher limit is available upon
request. Don't wait until you need more than the max, however,
because you'll be out of luck.
A side anecdote concerning currency denominations that atm's dispense.
I bank at PNC Bank here in Philadelphia. Universally, the atm's
don't dispense higher than 20's. When I went to one of their atm's in
an AC casino for a moderately large withdrawal I groaned a bit at the
thought of the wad of 20's that would be coming my way. I just about
cried a loud cheer when a neat stack of 100's were spit out!
