atlantis

Although I prefer Las Vegas, I will be going to the Atlantis Resort /
Casio this winter. Has anyone been there? How's the VP variety and
payouts? I noticed the cost of food real expensive. If one plays long
enough, how generous are they with comps? Should I expect decent comps
compared to Vegas or be disappointed? Thanks for your insight

Atlantis has a reputation as one of the better places to play VP
in Reno. Here's the link to the Atlantis DataBase page:

I'm assuming you are talking about Atlantis in the Bahamas. I've been there
several times. The VP is horrible at best. Comps are difficult. The resort
is beautiful albeit pricey. Just think of it as a non gambling vacation and
you'll be alright.

I find them to be very generous with comps and playing $.25 and occassionally
$1.00 get free room and food from them, and I usu do the steak house at least
once each trip.
