atlantis trip

finds= 3 NSUD in $ ,far right side of the side of stage, next to
atrium bar, just down the steps.

4 going for the fours machines in 8/6 job 7/5 bp between slot club &
wave machine

All single play multi stike games have nothing playable at all at any
denm.

the 2 5 play multistrike between atrium towers ( which is no way near
the atrium bar!! those are the dolphin towers) & the gift shop
are .05 .10 .25 with nothin playable.

BUT, the three 5 play multi strikes across from the atrium tower
elevators & the Java Coast have ,at .02 .05 10c , FP JOB, BPDX, SDB,
TDB, BP, DWBP,WHA, PLUS 9/6 DDB & NSUD. Guess where I played.

These 3 machines were mixed in a bank of 6 with Bonus Hand triple
play with 9/6 JOB 99.68%, 3 of a kind reduced to 2 to 1, & 8/5 BP
99.275%. ALso in this area was two 3 way action poker machines, did
not check out schedules thou.
This a great area to check out for the newest in VP, has had such
games as Chase the Royal & 5 Aces before. In fact, Atlantis always
seem to have a lot new slots of all types , it is like the
manufactures use them as a test site.

I found no NSUD on any Spin Poker, only 9/6 JOB,
No JOB or any other games that return 2 to 1 for 2 pair on any Spin
Poker Deluxe machine on the floor.
In fact i could find nothing any where near full pay on those
machines, would not be the 1st time same machine had different
paytables in different locations.

All 50ply,100ply still have FP JOB & SDB

Results= played 5 play MS JOB 90% of the time for 2 days for $130 in
the red, won $120 in slot tourney.

Food= the garlic fries at the Cafe Alfresco are delicous, simply
outstanding !
Breakfest Buffet was the same as always, great!!

THe awards banquet buffet had, antipasto plate with artichoke
hearts ,sweet peppers, Olives maranated or not, procutto ham &
provello cheese.
Fruit plate
Sweet italian sausage & peppers.
Turkey breast with gravy
Chicken Breast with Wild mushroom gravy ( my favorite)
Steamed Clams with their juice
Salmon filets with mustard cream sauce
Rice, steamed & pilaf
plus deseart trays with evry kind of cake & pastries you can want.
The food was fantastic as usual, no kidding people, it is as good as
it gets.

Met lots a people who there for the first time and/or were paying
full price of $199 feeling they were getting a deal & for 2 nites,10k
to win tourney , drinks, pastry & coffee mon morning, great awards
buffet in a wonderful casinos with great VP so who am i to argue??

I have been spoiled with 1/2 & 2/3 off offers in the past, but with
new & infrequent visitors willing to pay full price ( I saw very few
players I seen in past tournaments) & tourney selling out( 898
players & guests in this tourney, I was called sat. to ask if i was
coming for sure as " a lot of people want to play" ) they really do
not NEED me as a player anymore.
But still wont pay full price !

Great time , more to follow

Better be careful about naming the towers. I think you are right
about the "dolphin" towers, but because they are near the Atrium bar,
most have been calling them the "atrium" towers. The elevators by
the Java Coast (to the concierge floor) have been variously
tagged "new tower" or "concierge" tower. All quite confusing to
readers (and administrator!)

Monthly slot tournaments are wildly popular, sell out in a flash, and
often result in hotel over-booking (late arrivals ... say hello to
the motor lodge). If you want to go, book immediately and arrive
early. These are well-organized and with awards for team play,
nearly everyone comes away with at least $20. Agree on the food ...
it sounds like the same menu from tournament to tournament ... it's
very good. Atlantis is trying to limit attendance because the awards-
buffet room just won't hold much more than 900 or so guests. Got to
give them credit ... if they register more guests for the tournament
than advertised, they will increase the cash awards.

sign in & out of elevators call them atrium. &
concierge. & the only true atrium is the one over
Virgina St where the sushi & oyster bar are & on the
other side of casino!! ( & for garlic lovers the smell
is HEAVEN!!!!! play the 10/6 ddb for an hour &
vampires leave you alone for a year trust me ; ) )
& i think they like to confuse!!

My 6th tournament. & this was the 14th this year they
announced, have one for halloween next, CALL NOW!!!

Very true!! What i am finding is less & less comped

players & more & more full pay players.

I know tourneys aint everybodys thing but i find them
a pleasent experience & at a "discount" CHEAP. For me
& my wife about a 4 to 1 overlay, free for me, $49 for
spouse, 45K price pool with about 440 players,
included rooms & banquet + drinks
Full price was $199 for one ,$49 for second player,

LOVE THE ATLANTIS & the the Pepp. @$#* VEGAS !!!!!!!!

Sounds like Reno and the Peppermill were a very popular place at the middle and end of January, my husband just got back from a trip Jan 7th to 21st. He was taking a class at UNR but managed to get in some time at VP. He was surprised to find he had $200 of free play when he arrived, although the mailer said $100 for this period and the coupon book said $25. There must have been a $75 addition that we were not notified of. He played the 100 play JOB mostly and, probably because I was not with him, he was not as lucky as usual. He actually had to feed in his own money from time to time and only ended up about $100 counting the free play. Sorry to report that when he played the slots for the big jackpots, he again did not hit.

As I mentioned previously, the quarterly coupon book arrived just after he left and I thought no problem. Since he was going to be there 2 weeks, I would just send priority mail which is a two to three day standard. I don’t know if it was the Post Office or the hotel, but he did not get the letter until Friday, the 20th which I had mailed Tuesday the 10th. So in the future Federal Express will be my method of delivery. I wanted him to have the coupon book for the $50 match play which can be used at the Sport’s Book. It arrived so late that he did not get to use the Mr. Money coupon, although he did get one at the card swipe and won about $13. So I told him to bet $50 for me on the Steelers and will cash in my $190 sport’s book winning ticket on my next trip. I am two of three on those and hope that they keep on coming. He also got gift shop points for about $15 at the card swipe which is a higher amount than usual. I do believe that the card swipe is not random but is somehow
tailored to past play in type and amount.

Our next trip is in April and hopefully we will be able to report lots of fun wins. In the meantime good luck to all
