atlantis trip report/Quaterly earnings report

Spent last sun mon tues at Atlantis:

Games :
gave the info about sports bar previous, a solid play for the most part.

I cant stand the speed however, fastest games i have played.
Play faster than the turbo speed on other machines.

I know that for some of you that is wonderfull.
I just like slightly slower than INSTANT as these machines are

Lots of choices of full or near full pay Prog. bartops at Atlantis,
5 or 10 coin at .25 .50 $ , 10 & 20 coin .05. , NSUD TB+ JOB among
them.

Food:
Manhattan Deli is great! The greet you with pickled veggies as
appetizers such as pickles ,culiflower, beets, & carrots. Tangy with
some heat . Divine.
Wife had a Cobb salad big enough for 3 people, said the best she ever
had . My pastrami sandwich was great but was too much. Easily can split
among a couple.
Place was packed.

Gambling:
Lost 1/2 of my trip stake, no big deal as my gaming stash has been
funded by previous winnings. With free rooms ,food & a $50 gas card I
got from a local Native casino pretty much free trip.

Played NSUD .25,$ bartops & .25 Triple play , JOB & SDB 100ply at .01
&.02 level & STP.25 JOB at 3 5 & 10 line.

Love STP! I am one of those who scream Ten! Ten! when the the
multiplier is hit.
For those of you who think JOB is boring play 10 lines at a .25 level.
Think you might change your mind.

The Casino
The casino was busy even on Mon & Tues. They are not cutting back on
comps & freebies, if anything seem more generous than ever before. Room
was immaculate as always.
New nine table poker room was full by 9am every day, soft leather
chairs.
New sport book is seems to be "influnced" by the one at the Pepp & that
is a compliment . So much better than the old one.

They have so much new space that they adding 10 machines a day with
more stacked up covered in plastic on the casino floor.

New earnings report came out & while it was not pretty is not as bad as
it could have been as they are still making money & will keep the
share buy back program.
The expense of the expansion is about over & the Deli & Sport book &
the expanded Poker room will make a lot of money for the casino sooner
rather than later.

$12 to $13 a share is selling for about 13 times earnings, is in a
tough market in Reno with the native casinos in No. Cal. as main
competition + the Pepp,Silver Legacy, El Dorado et: all are not going
away .

They had a lot of people playing for the middle of the week even in the
off hours, & the deli is a hit.

M J

Atlantis, 5 or 10 coin at .25 .50 $ , 10 & 20 coin .05. , NSUD
TB+ JOB among them.

Thanks, MJ, for a nice report. I agree with all of your assessments
regarding the Atlantis VP inventory. It's superior to most casinos in
Nevada.

They even offer FPDW and FPKBJW (5c X 10 coins only) and 10/7DB and
10/6DDB (5c/10c/25c X 10 coins only) for those that don't care if
they're receiving "points" for their play.

From personally counting down points (the accrual of which is easily
determined by accessing the "menu" on your machine) I believe I have
approximated the normal ratio per coin-in dollar to one point, on
<100% VP, to be about $40/point. On the "positive" bank, I still
hadn't earned one point after playing through $100. I stopped
playing and counting after that point.

Manhattan Deli is great!.........My pastrami sandwich was

great but was too much. Easily can split among a couple.

Couldn't agree more! VERY good food and service and reasonably
priced. If you aren't starved and don't have a BIG capacity, split a
sandwich between two people. Each HALF sandwich, with half of the
side dishes, is more than enough for a normal appetite.

I had an excellent sliced white meat turkey sandwich and EH had a
tasty sliced brisket sandwich. Neither of us could finish even half
of our meal.

I definitely recommend the Manhattan Deli to anyone who enjoys NY
style deli food.

The casino was busy even on Mon & Tues.

We were there over a weekend. During that time a Slot Tournament (to
which we were invited, but passed up) and also a "Round The World"
festival dinner, which we did attend, were taking place. Due to
these events the casino was abnormally crowded. Under normal
mid-week circumstances, I have not found the Atlantis to be overly
crowded.

They are not cutting back on comps & freebies, if anything

seem more generous than ever before.

I've found this to be true as well. They are certainly more liberal
with comps and offers than the Peppermill.

They don't have the big name entertainment that the Silver Legacy
constantly offers to me, but the Altantis is much more generous with
room and food comps.

Thanks for the report, MJ! I'm sorry that you didn't win. I didn't
either, but enjoyed my visit anyway.
