Hi
At Atlantis for super bowl weekend,
$=$475.00 loss playin .25 triple pay hard, with only 1 4ducks not a
bad result.
The newbie i am teaching made $247.60 playing .05 triple play which
included 4 ducks floped for $150 & 4 more poped up including back to
back hands mon. morning. Held 1 deuce & got 4 on top line, then a
redraw on the next spin got 4 on the middle line & a wild royal on
the bottom.
At Atlantis Played 99% of the time in the walkway ,where the oyster
bar is at, at the 2 machines in the data base , Great for learning
NSUD as can be played for .05.
Allows for questions & then back at the room we go over the hard
hands
on the charts, thanks Tomski & wizard of odds, which really helps in
learning.
Newbie has progressed to the point now that they gets slightly miffed
when have 4 to WR & miss for the 10th time & getting nothing holdin a
a single deuce for an hour. Has that kind of memory. Before was just
happy to play. Still dont like holding 2 pair but does.
Food= Fri nite seafood is awsome. Mussels cooked 6 different ways
including 2 wonderfull dishes at the mexican station, clams 3 ways,
Hot & cold crab legs & shrimp. Cajun seared salmon at the carving
station . Oysters on the half shell & oysters rockafeller & on & on.
Took the time to peel four plates of crab & eat all at once. Took 20
minutes but worth it, might have had 2 pounds on plate.
The oysters were fresh, good with Tabasco & or lemon or nothing
Had a nice chablis with dinner, order when paying.
Hint: steam crabs easier to peel than cold.
There is a 2 hour time limit & we took 1 1/2.
Big game party= economy starting to show, was at the secondary party
which was a t best 60% full, heard big one not better, Tailgate
buffet was ok with hot wings, foot long dogs, chili beans, breaded
shrimp with poor selection of salads & deserts. Just seemed a little
cheap.
Comps=room & food free but got the impression might be a little
tighter, I got my food comp amount to zero once, never happen before.
Big mistake(?)=took newbie to the Pepp for the first time sat
morning, was floored by the decore & then took newbie to the Fireside
Lounge. We left 6 hours later.
Ask why I didnt stay there showed how Atlantis offers true room
comps, no "earning" $150 rooms that can be bought on internet for $50
before feeding me. Newbie went to talk to casino host about this.
Casino host try to blow newbie off saying not true, must have heard
wrong . Newbie not pleased.
Newie showed the offers I receive from Atlantis & the Pepp & asked
to speak to boss. Secound idiot try to talk above newbie, not smart.
Newbie walk into the back office of VIP room & got there attention
quick.
Got the bigger boss to chew out the 2 numbnuts in frount of newbie as
the 2 to bullshit there boss about what the Pepp offers curtail of.
Biggr boss explain he knows excatly what newbie was saying was not
only true but a problem "that is being addressed" . That they can not
afford pissing off customers by inflating room prices if comped.
Explained that economy tuff & "be hard to find a job right now" &
offered an apology to newbie.
Newbie not impressed at all, told him that newbie wants somthin
better to be mailed to newbie & newbie will & has emailed what has
happen to somebodys higher up the food chain.
Newbie does not like being lied to.
Great trip as always
