No weekends. Just Sunday thru Thursday. COD's are posted by almost all
VP machines.

COD is based on quads(w/o wilds) and is a bonus payout. Start at

$5

for nickles, $20 for quarters and up. Will only pay one line for
multiline games. COD's are 5's on Sunday, 6 on Tues, until 9's on
Thursday,

Thanks. A couple followup questions: Is there one for everyday, or
are
weekends excluded; i.e., would it be '10's on Friday, 'J's on Saturday,

and 'Q's on Sunday? Is this a fairly common ... and uniform (same
card/day correlation) ... practice among casinos, or just certain ones.

I'm sure I can ask folks at the slot-club desk, but sometimes there are

long lines; I know I could probably ask floor personnel, but I'd hate
to
get into a "well, one of your folks walking around here somewhere told

me that the COD is "9", and that I'd get a bonus ...". Any other
suggestions?

Cheers.

Thanks. Hmmm ... I'm wondering if 'COD' is a practice more common in AC, LV, etc., than it is in Tunica, where I do nearly all of my playing. It's been years since I've been to Vegas and elsewhere, but I go to Tunica often enough ... including Sundays ... that I think I would have probably noticed anything like that "posted by almost all VP machines". I'll need to remember to check with some of the 'Tunica'-specific groups.

Cheers.

I can confirm Patrick Ryan's post, and:
At the Reno Atlantis, COD information is posted at all
change/cashier's booths as well as at the Club booth. COD changes at
midnight and it becomes a subjective ethical issue as to what to do
if one hits next day's COD at, say, 11:59pm --- should one set her
watch 5 minutes ahead before playing? Promotional materials sent out
by the Atlantis listed the max COD pay out and implied that multiple
bonuses will be paid for multi-line games. I was paid an extra $500
as a COD bonus when I hit the COD on a 5c 100-play machine but that
was 3 months ago. I don't know if the Atlantis has since changed
that to a "one COD bonus per screen" policy. The Reno Cal-Neva's "4-
for-more" promotion did change from paying every quad on the screen
to one per screen in the middle of it's promotion, but I think this
promotion has ended.
At the Reno Hilton, COD information is posted only at the club
booth, and this is in force every day of the week. The bonus is $20
for 25c (vs $10 at the Atlantis), don't know the bonus for other
demoninations or it's policy on multi-line games.
