Atlantis, Reno

COD is based on quads(w/o wilds) and is a bonus payout. Start at $5
for nickles, $20 for quarters and up. Will only pay one line for
multiline games. COD's are 5's on Sunday, 6 on Tues, until 9's on
Thursday,

. . . COD is Sunday
through Thursday, $5 for 5c, $10 for 25c, and $20 for $1, and they
will pay you $500 if you hit the COD on a 100-play 5c machine . . .

The VPFree Glossary indicates that COD is "Card of Day", but it doesn't

explain how that works. I would assume that it probably would be a
bonus pay on quads, or something like that; i.e., if COD is '9', then
quad-'9's would pay the bonus. Will someone please confirm or
otherwise
explain this, and share any insights, such as whether there is a place

in the casino where the COD is posted, etc. (or if the offer is limited

to only people who have received notice by mail).

Thanks.

Thanks. A couple followup questions: Is there one for everyday, or are weekends excluded; i.e., would it be '10's on Friday, 'J's on Saturday, and 'Q's on Sunday? Is this a fairly common ... and uniform (same card/day correlation) ... practice among casinos, or just certain ones. I'm sure I can ask folks at the slot-club desk, but sometimes there are long lines; I know I could probably ask floor personnel, but I'd hate to get into a "well, one of your folks walking around here somewhere told me that the COD is "9", and that I'd get a bonus ...". Any other suggestions?

Cheers.
