Atlantis Question

One of my hosts "moved" to the Atlantis over a year ago. "He" has finally gotten me to visit the Atlantis. "He" has gotten me into the Concierge Tower (without any casino action)! (I found out about this when I called the Atlantis to confirm my reservation.) (Oh, and my host is, and will be, on vacation when I visit the Atlantis for two nights on July 17 and July 18.) I have looked on the website for the Atlantis and I am excited about this opportunity.

My question: What amount of coin in (on video poker [9/6 JOB and NSUD]) is expected for these luxurious accomadations?

(I enjoy playing on the quarter, fifty-cent and dollar level.)

In the past, I have called Casino Marketing/ VIP services and told them that I was interested in staying at their hotel, becoming an established player at their casino and wanted to know approximately what amount of action they wanted from me, in order to receive the following: suites, limo from airport, $xx amount of food per day, etc.

Each time I have done so, I am transferred to a host and they give enough information that I at least have an idea of what they are looking for.

You might consider making a "cold" call without identifying yourself.

Better yet, call the host that you know. Tell your host that you don't want to embarass him or you, and bluntly ask what type of action is required for the Concierge Tower, etc. He or she will probably appreciate the fact that you are aware they have bosses to answer to - and that you have their back.

They have the amount coin in to make certain levels, but have never asked about the room situation. We are not high rollers, but have never had a problem getting a free room, especially mid week. A nice place to play and the comps are great.

Traveling from Arkansas, my wife and I used to get Concierge rooms and $50 freeplay each for about 4k to 5K a day each. This was consistent for about two years. Then, about a year ago, our action only got us regular tower rooms, and $20 freeplay each, even though our coin in increased to about 11k to 12k per day.

We talked to a host who said our offers probably decreased because of cutbacks due to market conditions. We are at the 'Gold' level ($80,000 coin in per year). He said our play puts us at level '5' players, and hosts can only offer FREE upgrades to the concierge rooms for level 1,2, or 3 players. At our level, we can pay $35 a day in cash or comp to now get upgraded to concierge rooms. The bigger plus to these rooms is not the room itself, but free access to the health club and the concierge lounge which has free coffee and h'orderves and newspapers and big screen TV. A really great place to relax before or after playing.

You are in for a treat. The Atlantis is a great property with wonderful rooms and resaurants and spectacular video poker.
