atlantis/peppermill

Hi, I posted this on vpfree without a response, so I'm bringing it
over here, sorry for the repost.

What level coin in do I need to get room comped at Peppermill or
Atlantis? Would I have to play non-full-pay machines?

are there any Vegas/Reno sister properties that have playable VP (and
blackjack) excluding Harrahs and The Hilton?

anybody from the SF bay area know a bus going to Reno on a regular basis?

thanksinadvance

You could try talking to a host at each of the properties, and giving estimates of what you play at other properties. You may find that you get your first trip comped up front, and future trips based on evaluation of your first trip. This route has proven successful at many casinos if you are mid-level are above player.

Atlantis gives estimates in their slot club flyer of how much time on what denomination machine can get you various comps. I'm not sure their comp system is directly coin in based, and may be time/denomination based. Unfortunately I don't have a copy of the Atlantis slot club flyer on hand at the moment.

According to the Peppermill slot club flyer, 3 hours of $1 slot play or 8.5 hours of $.25 slot play qualifies for a room comp. Video poker may take more play. We have evidence that the points used for determining tier levels are accumulated at 1 point/$25 coin in slot play, but 1 point/$40 coin in for video poker play. It's not clear how many hands/hour they are expecting you to get in in slot play.

Some players estimate that the comp rate for the Peppermill and Atlantis are in the .5% to 1% range.

Wellm the Hilton properties aren't really sister properties. LV Hilton is part of Resorts International, and Reno Hilton is currently on the Connection Card, but is not a Harrah's property. I forgot at the moment who owns Reno Hilton.

There are plans for 5 Stations casinos to open in the Reno area, but none exist yet.

As far as I know, Harrah's is the only property in Reno with sister properties in LV at the moment.

I know that there are regular buses to Reno, but I don't know specifically which ones. Check with Lucjy Tours, I believe they are one company that runs regular buses. You could also call Harrah's or Reno Hilton, buses stop at those casinos regularly, and I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you which lines run from the bay area.

That should be "if you are a mid-level or above player"

I know that there are regular buses to Reno, but I don't know specifically
which ones. Check with Lucjy Tours, [...]

That should be "Lucky Tours".

Both are dont ask wont tell casinos as points go, Atlantis seems to

favor long time customers, but some on here have gotten good results by
cold calling a host, I emailed the Pepp & got a response for 2 nites
free 1 nite $59 in 90 min, Atlantis is yet to respond to emails
The Pepp web site has a chart showing what comps for what play, go
there.
both are too secretive to answer your non full pay ? .
Both are outstanding for VP, for food, for rooms,
