Atlantis - new comp system

Ate dinner at the Atlantis on tuesday to take advantage of their Oct buffet discount for card holders. Discount varies with card level but is several dollars off. You can also now pay at their outlets with your players card. There are 2 EZ Comp swipe card machines near the players club so you can see how many comp points are in your account. It's 100 points equals $1 at the restaurants and 200 pts = $1 at the shops. Your comp points are now displayed on slot machines instead of tier points. I didn't play long enough to get a count of comp points vs. coin in but as we know a change in benefits is usually not in the players favor. Not having to stand in line at the players club for a comp is definately a plus.

So 1 point = $0.01 (food)
IIRC, doesn't it take $20 coin-in per point?

There are 2 point tracks. $40 coin-in = 1 tier point. These determine your card level on a yearly basis (Jun1 - May 31). Comp points accummulate at a different rate which I don't know - but it should be easy to figure now that they are displayed on each machine. Also don't know if comp points expire. As I said, this is a new system so there may be changes.
