Atlantis "best" plays

When there is AA at the Atlantis, it's on slow coin dropping GameMaker machines. It's hard to get the slot attendant's attention, and hand pays and hopper fills are slow and tedious, especially since there are few machines in the casino that are coin droppers. With only two machines (sometimes only one having the game when it's been reinstated) it's often not viable to start playing another machine while waiting for a slot attendant.

While often this game would have the highest % return/hand played at the Atlantis, it would not have the highest theoretical hourly return/hand played at the $ level for a fast player. Additionally, there are a number of progressives that often exceed the % return/hand.

Interesting responses that aren't in synch with my experience. When
I played the slant tops with $ AA at Atlantis, the machines seemed
fast to me. Perhaps someone requests the speed changed. By coin
droppers, I assume you mean when cashing out credits rather than not
retaining credits as found on some older machines at other casinos.
I found that these machines do not require a handpay when hitting the
$1K SF. Instead they add the credits. When cashing out, a handpay
is required, but it was faster than dropping coins and taking them to
the cashier.

9/6 JOB would not quite be as high an EV as AA at 6000 coins, and the
variance would be much higher. This assumes you make the proper
strategy changes. Only one person at the bank will hit the RF when
it exceeds 6000, and then the EV drops significantly until hours
later when it may return to over 6000.

AA is a tough strategy, and it taxes my brain after playing for a
while, but I enjoy it. If $ AA returns to the Atlantis due to a high
roller's request, I'd like to know his/her schedule for visiting
there.

Say Ken, next time you find the game gone, why don't you call over a
tech and see if they'll turn it on for you? Tell them you've noticed
that the game appears and disappears on a frequent basis and what's
up with that? Even if they won't do it, you're likely to get an
explanation why it comes and goes, and perhaps you can use that
information to your advantage at a later time.
