Atlantic City trip from New York City

How long is the trip from the New York Port Authority to Atlantic City. Do the buses go to all of the casinos or do you have to take a specific bus to go to the casino of your choice?

I dont know how big a high roller you have to be to get a limo from New York. But Grayhound and Academy run buses from Port Authority just about every 30 minute's during the day. You get a casino bonus when you get there.
Cant talk about hotel room's because I almost never stay in one.

I'll preface by saying that I prefer Academy as I find the buses
generally cleaner & the drivers more professional - although
Greyhound's schedule runs through the night, Academy's last departure
from NY Port Authority is 11:00 p.m.

Academy's roundtrip ticket is now $33 Monday-Thursday departure; $35
Friday-Sunday departure. I state "departure" because the return
portion of the ticket is good for 4 days from date of purchase. I do
not know what Greyhound's fee is - but the ticket is also 4-day open-
ended. Both services post a list near their ticket windows showing
what the bonuses are at the respective casinos.

The bus trip is about 2 hrs. 20 mins., depending on traffic/weather.
Both Greyhound & Academy have printed schedule. The time you depart
determines which casinos you will arrive at (they usually make stops
at two different casinos), however you may depart from any casino you
choose before the expiration of your return ticket. You simply need
to make sure you acquire (and keep) a printed schedule so you have
that info at hand.

One last piece of advice. Departing buses will usually do pick-ups at
two different casinos on their way out of A.C. For example: a 1:10
pm. departure from Resorts and a 1:30 p.m. departure from Caesars is
probably the same bus. I suggest you try to catch your bus from the
1st pick-up location (and arrive approx. 20-30 minutes early). There
are often more people waiting for a bus than there will be available
seats (particularly on weekends) and you may have to wait for the next
one or go to another casino. Check with the staff at the bus areas.
Most of the time scheduled buses will always pull in to the same
numbered lane. Resorts is one exception to this, and you have to just
pay attention. Hope this helps.
