Atlantic City suggestions ?

I have travel plans to AC in Feb and entertaining all comments /
recommendations / avoidance about the casinos there.

Primary stops planned so far will be mostly the Harrah's properties,
but still planning about seeing being able to squeeze in the Trump
properties as well while there.

Thanks in advance....

Don't go to the Tropicana

I don't know, it might be interesting to
see what it takes to get a New Jersey
oversight organization to say you're not up
to snuff.

My last trip to AC in Oct., I played Ceasars. They have a good array
of 9/6 JB. There is a bank of .25 JB on the lower level near the
elevator. A bank of 1.00 JB near the high roller area and 2/5/25 JB in
the high roller area. Can't comment on any other games as I don't play
them. Also can't comment on any other Casinos. They have a great
Ddiamond lounge with a good array of food. Bring your ID.

Most of the casinos in Atlantic City have some 9/6 JOB and do not
reward you handsomely for playing it. All in all, I prefer to be at
the Borgata. Comps are better than at the Harrah's properties and it
just feels classier in my opinion. You can also play at the B Bar
which offers free drinks while playing, which is not a staple in AC.
If you are Harrah's Diamond, look into upgrading to a Borgata Black
Card or Trump Chairman card while in town. There are some immediate
benefits, which you could use while on this trip. Also if you are
Diamond, do not miss Bally's Diamond Lounge.

Those machines have been gone for about 2 years. Where are you
getting this info to give him?

The machines ($1) are shorted on the straight (10/7/4). That puts the
return in the same vicinity of 9/7/5 DB, 8/5 BP and 9/6 DDB -- making
it a not too terrible play for AC.

It's been a few months since I last stepped onto the Plaza floor for
play but, as I recall, these machines were dedicated machines (with
yellow "10/7 Poker" faceplates), not multigames.

As caribou wrote, the 10/7/5 coin-droppers have been out of action --
for closer to 3 years. I miss them, though they were terribly royal
stingy for me.

Again, I replied too quickly. I thought thomas was referring to the
machines that have been located on the main casino mid-floor riser
(around the corner from the top of the escalator to the front desk lobby).

His location description suggests other machines. There's some
conflict -- high limit area (Fifth Avenue) is in the main tower
casino, not the East Tower casino. You can bet I'll be scanning the
machines at New Years, but I'm confident they're 10/7/4 (if the
description of "10/7 DB" is accurate).

I would bet you are right Harry. I recall some time ago, that Trump
actually had the audacity to advertise their inventory of "10/7 Double
Bonus", this was well over a year ago. It turned out that these were
machines with pay scales shorted in other areas, as you pointed out.
I wrote them a little note asking them why they don't understand this
advertising is going to annoy the very same knowledgeable player who
they are trying to attract once they see the pay scale shortness.
