Atlantic City NJ State Income Tax

You've got the right idea Stuart. The real lynchpin is that there's
no mandatory withholding on jackpots, as there are in a few other
states. In those states, you must file to receive a refund and in
some cases that can be pretty sticky. You're pretty much free and
clear as a non-NJ resident when it comes to NJ state income tax. (Of
course, at the rate the state legislature is going in order to balance
the budget, that may just be a matter of time. But that's another
story ...)
