Atlantic City info............

OK, I am going to be picky just to get a few things straight for any possible visitors. (Caps are used to distinguish my comments.)

My wife and I frequent AC a lot since we live in CT and its only three hrs away . Also my brother is a Food & Beverage manager for Bally's/Harrahs. We go once or twice a month. Harrahs which is down at the end of the boardwalk which you cannot get to by walking , you must drive or shuttle , has just open a new buffet that my brother has been helping run . He says it is the best in AC , and he is being impartial since he has to know what the other casinos have . We have eaten at almost every one and we have found the Showboat buffett and the Virginia City buffett at Bally's Wild Wild West are about the best.

HARRAHS IS NOT ON THE BOARDWALK. RATHER IT IS IN THE MARINA AREA NEXT TO THE BORGATA THAT YOU MENTION BELOW.
I ATE THIS WEEKEND AT THE WATERFRONT BUFFET AT HARRAHS AND DID NOT EXPERIENCE ANYTHING EXCEPTIONAL. ALTHOUGH SHOWBOAT'S AND BALLYS' WILD WEST BUFFETS ARE GOOD I WOULD STILL HAVE TO GIVE OVERALL TOP HONORS TO THE BORGATA.

All the streets run off the boroadwalk .

NOT SURE WHAT YOU WERE TRYING TO CONVEY HERE BUT ALL THE STREETS DO NOT RUN OFF OF THE BOARDWALK IN ATLANTIC CITY.

The younger crowd seems to like the new MGM Borgata , but you have to drive to that also,it is not on the boardwalk . It is high end with lots of bars , discos catering to the 20-30 age bracket. THE BORGATA IS OWNED JOINTLY BY MGM MIRAGE AND BOYD GAMING BUT IS NOT KNOWN AS THE MGM BORGATA.

We were just trying to give some general info on AC by keeping it

simple and not getting to complicated . All we were trying to convey
about the streets are if the Atlantic ocean is at your back the
streets run at right angles to the Boardwalk and to get to the Irish
Pub it was only about 20 yards off the boardwalk , obviously all the
streets in Atlantic City do not run off the boardwalk, sorry for all
the confusion . All roads don't lead to Rome either. The last time we
ate at the Borgata when we went to use our food comps they told us
our $20.00 food comp was good for $10.00 of food, that left a bad
taste right off the bat.The food comp is 2 to 1 . The first time
someone mentioned the Borgata they told us it was built by MGM and
nothing more , thats how we were introduced to it , never bothered to
see who else owned it , sorry for the misinformation. We were just
trying to give the general location of Harrahs , did not mean it was
on the boardwalk just down at the end and you had to drive to get
there. I guess its like when we went to Las Vegas and said we wanted
to go old Vegas and they told us not to say that it was downtown .
Whatever that meant. We hope nobody got lost or a bad meal because of

information , we will try to be more specific in the future.

                         sincerely
